Homegrown Radio Lockdown Breakfast is the first Show created for creative students who graduated from I Was Born To Speak On Radio Training Course with Leadership 2020.

The Breakfast Show is live Monday to Friday from 08h00AM all the way to 10h00AM. The graduates take weekly turns and they all get the chance to Broadcast Live.

They create their own scripts, content compiling and do their own Social Media.

Mandisi Mabaso and Keanu Buys were the first to Host the Breakfast Show. Ororisoe Mokoena joined Mandisi for a week and they were followed by Vuyisile Mdini and Kagiso Mosehla who will be followed by many others.

The goal is to make sure every candidate gets a chance to be on AIR as it gives them practical experience. The Homegrown Radio team gets to choose which department they would be effective in; the team doesn’t consist of only Radio Presenters. There’s also technical Producing, advertising, marketing, sales and other departments to fill. The technical producer currently is Sabelo, Social Media is handled by Lungile Ntshangase and the Marketing Assistant is Kagiso Mosehle.
